Murder Mystery Dinner Many A Slip
Murder Mystery Dinner - Many A Slip
It was a a busy day at Bovey Tracey Pottery in March 1935. Business was brisk and the popularity of Dartmoor Ware was growing as mass tourism took hold in Devon. However, today disaster struck.Part of the manufacturing process in the pottery was to create Slip from the clay, a mix of water and cleaned clay, which was placed in a Slip Tank and drawn off by tap when needed, and then poured into the moulds before firing in the kilns. Today, one of the workers noticed a problem with the flow of Slip from one of the Slip Tanks and investigated the opaque muddy mixture. As he stirred the mixture a hand suddenly broke the surface.
Further investigation revealed a body in the tank and the police were called. Who was the body and was it an accident or something more sinister?
The Investigator reduces his suspects to just four individuals who had known the deceased and he calls them together in an effort to get to the bottom of the mystery.
All the clues will be there to identify who is responsible but will they be correctly deduced? The Investigator, with the help of the other guests present, is determined to get to the truth before the day is out.
