After last year’s successful tour, Crown Ballet® return to the UK to enchant you with the delightful production of The Nutcracker.
The Nutcracker, a charming and kind fairy tale, is one of the jewels of Tchaikovsky's repertoire. The original Christmas story is based on The Nutcracker and the Mouse King, written by E.T.A. Hoffmann.
It tells the story of Marie, a sad little girl, whose godfather, Drosselmeier, gives her a Nutcracker doll as a present on Christmas Eve and in her lively imagination it turns into a prince and the magic begins…
Crown Ballet give an unforgettable performance of this eternal seasonal favourite and it is a wonderful introduction to audiences of any age to classical ballet.
